Level 2 Training
If you are a Level 1 Instructor with at least one year experience you may be able to enter a Level 2 program as an apprentice. If you are interested in certifying in a Level 2 discipline please e-mail the Director of Training at training@londontrack3.ca and advise which discipline you are interested in. The Level 2 disciplines are:
- 3 Track
- 4 Track
- Vision Impaired
- Hearing Impaired
- Sit Ski – Mono, and
- Sit Ski – Dual
Acceptance into the program will be at the discretion of the program coordinator. Once accepted into the program you will act as an assistant/apprentice to a qualified Level 2 Instructor for the season. At the end of the season your skills, knowledge and abilities (SKAs) will be evaluated by the program coordinator. If you exhibit the necessary SKAs you will be certified as a Level 2 Instructor.
Note – you must complete the certification process for each discipline.
Level 2 Instructor/Trainer
Level 2 Instructor/Trainers are qualified to conduct training sessions for Level 1 Instructors.
To become a Level 2 Instructor/Trainer you must have taught as a Level 2 Instructor for at least two years and be a certified Canadian Association for Disabled Skiers (CADS) Level 1 Instructor in good standing.

There is no fee to take the course; however, you must be a member of CADS and renew your membership each year to remain as an instructor in good standing. The current membership fee is $35 per year.
The Board will pay the annual membership fees for all certified Level 2 Instructor/Trainers who are actively involved in training. If you would like to take the CADS course please e-mail the Director of Training at training@londontrack3.ca.
Level 3 Instructor/Examiner
Level 3 Instructor/Examiners are qualified to conduct training sessions and qualify Level 1 and Level 2 instructors.
To become a Level 3 Instructor/Examiner you must have served as a Level 2 Instructor/Trainer for at least two years, be a certified CADS Level 1 Instructor in good standing as well as a CSIA/CASI Level 1 Instructor in good standing.
